Toroidion was established in 2011 to develop an entirely new electric powertrain that could compete and win Le Mans 24-hour endurance race.
In 2015 the Toroidion engineering team revealed the 1MW concept car, the first proof-of-concept electric supercar powered with a high-performance 48V electric powertrain.
The Toroidion 1MW concept car is street-legal technical prototype and has been designed, developed and built in Finland. Toroidion 1MW Concept car has four direct drive electric motors producing total mechanical power of 1000kW at 48V.
