Tim Ioannides, MD, is the founder of Treasure Coast Dermatology, a multi-location medical dermatology practice located in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. The focus of the practice is prevention and treatment of skin cancer and overall skin health.
Dr. Ioannides serves as a Voluntary Associate Professor at his alma mater, the University of Miami School of Medicine, where he teaches courses in the field of medical dermatology, related to dermatological and reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Ioannides has conducted research investigating the use of the human papilloma virus vaccine, Gardasil, to treat squamous cell cancer.
