Think Silicon is a company that offers graphics and display processors for Internet of Things (IoT) devices. The company was founded in 2007 by George Sidiropoulos and Iakovos Stamoulis, in Patras, Akhaia, Greece.
The company provides several different types of graphics IP semiconductor modules, API software, SDKs, GUI design tools, and more. The graphics that Think Silicon produces can be found in smartwatches, low-end smartphones, glasses, office equipment, and smart clothes. The processors can perform in 2D and 3D graphics. Think Silicon's product line includes the pico, tiny, small, and dc 100/200/400/700, xNN, Think 2d, Think VG, and Think LCD.
The GPU project that Think Silicon has is a low-power graphics device under the topic SME Instrument Phase II. The aim for this GPU-wear is to extend device battery life, make sure it is wearable and embedded in device while running at high speeds, and providing 4K video display applications. The GPU itself includes two different types of general purpose cores, both with different micro-architectures.
