Tamar Ventures is a Tel Aviv based venture capital firm investing in Israeli technology companies. Zohar Gilon and Thomas I. Unterberg co-founded the company in 1998. Its investment strategy seeks opportunities to invest at any stage in a company’s life cycle. The firm focuses on communications and networking, broadband technologies and equipment, enterprise applications, security software, internet infrastructure, and semiconductors. It has invested in prominent startups in Israel including Radvision, Ceragon, AVT, Allot Communications, Hotbar.com, Ex Libris and Ezchip.
