The four month program offered participants three stages of support. The first offered market validation, where they helped companies develop relationships with mentors and industry experts, refine their business models and develop market entry strategies. The second offered participants address the challenge of scaling their business. And they offered participants aid in raising funding after they graduated their program.
Startups participating in the Surge Accelerator received $30,000 in seed capital from Surge.
Surge Accelerator closed in the spring of 2016.
Surge Accelerator had investments in Autonomous Marine Systems, Infinite Composite Technologies, SimuApp, Greasebook, SEE Forge, Petrabytes, Renoble and Project Insiders.
They had exited investments in Meshify and FuelMiner.
