Sunsama is a company which develops a task management and calendar application. Sunsama was founded by Ashutosh Priyadarshy and Travis Meyer in 2013. The company is based in Oakland, California.
Sunsama’s application is designed to be a combination of a task management and calendar application. The tool integrates to other task managers, like Jira, Asana, and Trello. Each day, users can schedule tasks that they would like to start, complete, or assign to another person. A summary of these daily tasks can be seen on calendar view – thus allowing the users to see the overview of a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. The product is available for use through a subscription to its service.
Since 2014, Sunsama has managed to raise $150,000 in capital through four funding rounds. The company’s most recent funding series was held in March 2019, which was a seed round. Sunsama was a member of the Y Combinators winter 2019 cohort and received financing from Y Combinator, Rob Thorpe, and Starve Ups.
