Sugarlogix was found in 2016 and manufactures complex sugars found within human breast milk that have probiotic functions using biologically engineered yeast. The complex sugars made by Sugarlogix are made to selectively feed bacteria found within the human gut biome that help restore ratios of bacteria within the gut that promote better health.

2-Fucosyllactose (2-FL)
The first product Sugarlogix is commercializing is 2-Fucosyllactose (2-FL), a prebiotic protein that is found only in human breast milk. The company secured FDA approval for their 2-FL, and have plans to begin shipping in 2018.
