Substratum (cryptocurrency)

Substratum is a blockchain and cryptocurrency development company founded by Justin Tabb. The company is developing an open-source network, called Substratum, that allows users to allocate their spare computing resources in exchange for the platforms Substratum cryptocurrency called substrate (SUB).

Introduction to Substratum.

The Substratum platform consists of three types of users: a substratum host, a substratum node, and an end web user. Anyone participating in the Substratum blockchain can host websites and/or web applications and pay network users to serve their content. Each substratum node serves the content of hosts to end web users and receives the Substrate cryptocurrency in exchange for their services. End web users of content hosted using Substratum can view Substratum hosted content in any web browser without any censorship blocks.

Substratum held their initial coin offering (ICO) from August 14, 2017 to September 14, 2017 and sold approximately $13.8 million worth of Subtratum (SUB) cryptocurrency.
