He received his education at the Kazan Theological Seminary, after which in 1901 he was ordained a priest of the Assumption Church in the village of Shumatov, Yadrinsky district. In 1907 he was moved to the village of Aleksandrovskoye in the same district, and in 1908 to the village of Shikhazany in the Tsivilsky district.
In 1907 he was elected a member of the III State Duma from the congress of landowners of the Kazan province. He was a member of the Progressive faction, from the 5th session - in the group of non-party people. He was a member of the commission for the affairs of the Orthodox Church. I did not speak from the Duma rostrum.
In 1913 he was moved to the village of Yumatovo, Sviyazhsky district. In 1915-1916 he was a permanent member of the district branch of the diocesan school council.
The fate after 1917 is unknown. Was married.
