The Sisense data analytics platform uses an open single-stack architecture, it own in-chip technology, machine learning, bots, and the internet of things (IoT). The companies platform allows users to merge data, analyze data, deploy data solutions locally, on a private cloud, or a hybrid of both private cloud and local deployment, embed their platform in other data analytics applications, and implement data governance structures.
The company is strategic partners with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Snowflake, and Google BigQuery.
On July 13, 2010 Sisense completed their series A funding round with $4 million in funding from Opus Capital, Genesis Partners, and Eli Farkash. The company plans on using their series A funding to increase sales and marketing of its product within the United States and to make product improvements.
On April 3, 2013 Sisense completed their series B funding round with $10 million in funding from Battery Ventures (lead investor), Opus Capital, and Genesis Partners. At the time of receiving their series B funding Sisense had 37 employees and plans on using their funding to increase the number of employees they have up to 70 by 2014.
On June 12, 2014 Sisense completed their series C funding round with $30 million in funding from DFJ Growth (lead investor), Battery Ventures, Genesis Partners and Opus Capital. The company plans on using their series C funding to increase the sales of their business intelligence platform. the CEO of Sisense, Amit Bendov, made the following public comment regarding the companies series C funding round:

On January 7, 2016 Sisense completed their series D funding round with $50 million in funding from Bessemer Venture Partners (lead investor), DFJ Growth (lead investor), Battery Ventures, Genesis Partners and Opus Capital. The company plans on using their series D funding to expand globally beyond the United States market.
