SciTE

SciTE (Scintilla based Text Editor) is a cross-platform text editor created by Neil Hodgson using his own Scintilla editing component. It is intended mainly for editing source code of programs and makes syntax highlighting for many programming languages (C, C++, C#, Java, Ruby, Pascal, Perl, Python, etc.), markup (HTML, XML, etc.), hardware description (VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog). SciTE is characterized as a compact text editor for programmers with conveniently implemented code collapsing, advanced syntax highlighting and other useful functions. SciTEe is a portable application and works when launched from portable devices. The size of the SciTE distribution kit does not exceed 2.5 MB.
