Samuel Waldman, also known as Shmuel Waldman, is a highly respected figure in the world of religious education. Born 60 years ago, Rabbi Samuel Waldman has had a diverse career, spanning several decades.
His journey started with being indoctrinated with the teachings of Horav Hagoan Rabbi Avigdor Miller ZT"L, which influenced his worldview significantly. At 17 years old, he began listening to hundreds of Rabbi Miller's tapes and encouraged many others to do the same. He also maintained a close relationship with the former Mashgiach of Mirrer Yeshiva, Horav Hagoan Rav Don Segal shlit"a.
Rabbi Waldman's early married life was spent learning in the Kollel of Mirrer Yeshiva. He was then invited to join the Kollel of the Yeshiva Mercaz Hatorah of Belle Harbor, which was run by Rabbi Levi Dicker zt"l and Rabbi Chaim Zelikovitz Shlit"a. The intention was for him to eventually become the Mashgaich of the High School, a position he assumed after two years in the Kollel. As Mashgiach, he delivered weekly lectures on proper Torah living and Emunah to the High School boys, as well as one-on-one discussions to motivate them to become true Ben Torah.
During his time as Mashgiach in Mercaz Hatorah of Belle Harbor, Rabbi Waldman authored the highly acclaimed book 'Beyond A Reasonable Doubt: Convincing Evidence to the Truth's of Judaism" published by Feldheim Publishing in 2002. This book, which sold tens of thousands of copies, is still considered a classic in the field of kiruv. It was a game-changer for many people, as it explained in a clear way all the basic tenets of Jewish faith.
Apart from his work as a Mashgiach and author, Rabbi Samuel Waldman also taught 4th and then 7th grade for 11 years at the Elementary school, Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe in Queens, NY. He also taught in several summer camps over a 20 year period, leaving his mark on hundreds of students. Rabbi Waldman's teaching style and lectures were known for imbuing the tenets of Judaism to his students.
For the past 10+ years, Samuel Waldman has been working on a very comprehensive sefer about the important subject of Proper Prayer. The sefer discusses why Orthodox Jews spend so much time in prayer every day and what they are supposed to be accomplishing. The sefer promises to be a classic on the topic of Prayer, and Rabbi Waldman has personally spent a lot of his time in intense prayer, as the sefer shows is the correct and proper way to pray.
Recently, Samuel Waldman has embarked on an ambitious project by starting a blog that shows many objects of nature that display amazing Intelligent Design, clearly created by a most Intelligent Designer. He also shows the fallacy of the Theory of Evolution and how numerous objects in nature are absolutely impossible to have come about through an evolutionary process. The blog promises to be an extremely informative one, with frequent updates.
Samuel Waldman is married and is the father of 13 children, with many grandchildren. Though he has kept a strong Torah learning schedule throughout his career, he recently had to leave the field of teaching to earn a better income for his family. He has since partnered with others to sell specialized herbal supplements for bladder control, with plans to expand the product line to provide prostate help, a hair loss supplement, and a mental and cognitive strengthening supplement. He hopes to produce truly effective health products that can truly help people.
Rabbi Samuel Waldman's passion for educating others about Judaism has never waned, even as he pursued a career in supplement sales. He has continued to give lectures and lead Torah classes in his community, sharing his vast knowledge and experience with anyone who is interested in learning.
In addition to his work in religious education and supplement sales, Samuel Waldman is also involved in various charitable organizations. He volunteers his time and resources to help those in need, and he is always looking for ways to make a positive impact on the world.
Despite his many accomplishments, Rabbi Waldman remains humble and dedicated to his faith. He continues to live a life of Torah and mitzvot, setting an example for his large family and the community at large.
As he looks to the future, Rabbi Waldman is excited to continue his work in educating others about Judaism and helping those in need. With his extensive knowledge, his passion for teaching, and his commitment to making a difference, there is no doubt that Rabbi Waldman will continue to be a source of inspiration and guidance for many years to come.
