Rolf Dobelli was born on July 15, 1966. He attended the University of St. Gallen (HSG), where he studied philosophy and business administration. He received his doctorate from HSG in 1995. He has published twelve books in forty-five different languages since the release of his first book at the age of thirty-eight. He also publishes essays on a variety of topics, mostly philosophical and psychological in nature, which are available on his webpage (dobelli.com). Some of Dobelli's most popular books, such as The Art of Thinking Clearly and The Art of the Good Life have become keynote topics, available for presentation at professional conferences, universities, etc. He has made appearances at Google, HP, Microsoft, SAP, AIG Insurance, Fidelity, Bank of New York Mellon, The London School of Economics, KPMG, SwissLife, AstraZene, and more.
