Rimedo Labs

Rimedo Labs is a consulting and research and development (R&D) firm, offering consulting, implementation, and R&D services in the field of wireless systems, including open radio access networking and 5G networks. Rimedo Labs is a member of the Open Networking Foundation and O-RAN ALLIANCE, with a focus on the development of xApps and Open RAN training delivery.

In 2020, Rimedo Labs was spun out from the Poznań University of Technology's Radiocommunications Institute in Poland. Customers and partners of Rimedo Labs have included VMware, Umlaut, TIP Academy, InformaTech, Accelleran, Autotalks, Grandmetric, Global 5G Evolution, EUwena, Artech House, CEI, and Intelefy.

Rimedo Labs offers services in applied research, including translating that research into applications necessary for them to provide value to the business and the industry. This includes developing simulations and proof-of-concepts, as well as developing those into real products and services that give them value.

Rimedo Labs consulting services include using the company's experience as a research and development firm to help other companies develop wireless technologies for legacy network technologies and modern wireless technologies, as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, NB-IoT, LoRa, and SigFox standards. They offer system design, feature or patent analysis, technology selection, and forecasting for companies or wireless systems.

Rimedo Labs provide training services, which include online and on-site courses, conferences, meetups, and workshops. These training services are developed to the needs of the customer and based on requirements in the field of radiocommunications.

Rimedo Labs also offers technical content for training or consultancy, technical documents, dedicated research papers, books, or reports, which can be developed for insights into specific features or aspects in various wireless technologies and systems. This includes developing materials on various topics, such as LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, IoT, shared spectrum, and AI.
