Regen Power is an Australian renewable energy company headquartered in Perth. Established in 2003, the core business of the company constitutes the sales of roof-top solar systems, solar batteries and off-grid systems.
Regen Power was founded in 2003 by Dr. Chem Nayar, an Emeritus professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer engineering at Curtin University. In 2014 Regen Power became the finalist in the Australian technology Competition for the HYBRIDGEN power pack generator. The same year witnessed Prof. Chem Nayar being selected as the first fellow of Australian Solar Council. In late 2015, the company officially announced surpassing 10,000 solar PV system installations in Western Australia.
The research work conducted in Regen Power has led to several pending and granted patents. In 2013 Regen Power was granted patent for HYBRIDGEN. HYBRIDGEN was also conferred the Sustainable Energy Association (SEA) 2011 Product & Technology award. Regen Power has also received the Australian Research Council Linkage Grant amounting to AUD $326,000.
Regen Power offers residential and commercial solar power system installations and consultation. The company also provides custom-designed hybrid off-grid systems for powering remote locations. Such systems have been installed in commercial locations like Veterans Retreat (Meentheena Station), Eco Beach Wilderness Resort (Broome) etc..
