The firm focuses primarily in investing in machine learning and artificial intelligence companies.
In 2017 Radical Ventures raised $13 million CAD for their first investment fund that will focus on making pre-seed and seed stage investments.
On May 7, 2019 Radical ventures announced raising $350 million dollars for an investment fund that will focus on investing in artificial intelligence companies. Fund II will focus on making series A investments. Limited partners of the fund include Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB), the Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP Investments), TD Bank Group and Wittington Investments Limited.
