ProVeg International is a non-profit organization trying to reduce the consumption of animals products around the world by 50% by the year 2040. The organization is headquartered in Berlin, Germany and was founded in 2017 by Dr. Melanie Joy, Tobias Leenaert, and Sabastian Joy. ProvVeg International works to improve the quality, and accessibility of plant-based products through working with governments, public institutions, and companies around the world. They believe the consumption of animal products leads to animal suffering, environmental degradation, food insecurity, and human health issues.
