Pit.AI Technologies

An artificial Intelligence company focused on hedge fund investment management

Pit.ai is a California based technology company providing an artificial intelligent platform for investment management. The company uses advanced machine learning algorithms to understand the market movement, provide predictive analysis, and analyze risk factors.

Product

Profitability on the market depends on portfolio managers using the available data to generate alpha in a diversified portfolio to eliminate unsystematic risks. The alphas are only known to a small subset of market participants and turn into ‘smart beta’ when it is known to a majority of the market participants. Pit.ai’s platform uses artificial intelligence and machine learning agents to simplify the process for early detection. As the market moves towards digital automation, portfolio managers require a higher number of alphas to be competitive and profitable. Pit.ai platform offers detection, management, and risk assessment of these alphas.

Pit.ai’s machine learning architecture uses three modules for investment management. The Eye, a machine learning platform to find alphas, The Brain analyzes the viability of alphas, and The Risk Manager asses the risk factors of multiple alphas and when they will stop performing.

Pit.ai also releases some of its research to further machine learning development in investment management.
