Peter Ustinov (April 16, 1921 – March 28, 2004) was a prolific British writer, film director, and television presenter. Born in the London Borough of Camden, Ustinov held citizenship in the United Kingdom. He attended the prestigious Westminster School during his formative years.
Ustinov had a versatile career spanning multiple occupations, including screenwriter, playwright, comedian, film producer, and actor. Among his numerous contributions to film and theater, he directed the movie Billy Budd. Ustinov won a Grammy Award for Best Children's Album, showcasing his talent in various creative fields.
Born to parents Jona von Ustinov and Nadia Benois, Peter had Russian nationality in addition to his British citizenship. He had two children, Tamara Ustinov and Igor Ustinov. Peter Ustinov passed away in Genolier on March 28, 2004.
