Under the leadership of Solovyov, the D-20P engine for the Tu-124 aircraft was developed, which became the first twin-circuit turbojet engine in the USSR. In subsequent years, Solovyov Design Bureau developed a number of engines for the Tu-134, Mi-10, Il-76, Tu-154, MiG-31.
