Oumph! is a plant-based food company making meat alternatives using soy as their main ingredient. The company was founded by Anders Wallerman and Anna-Kajsa Lidell in 2014 and is located in Mjölby, Sweden. Oumph! is a part of the Swedish Food for Progress initiative, an initiative which seeks to help create a sustainable and secure worldwide food system.
In 2015 Oumph! won the retail "product of the year" award in Sweden and Norway. In 2016, Oumph was awarded the "Grocery of the year" award from Food for Progress, after contributing to the 24% growth of vegetarian product consumption throughout Sweden during 2016. In 2016, Oumph! also won the "Food Product of the Year" award from the Swedish Grocers Federation.
Products made by Oumph! are made with soya beans, and organic herbs and spices. Oumph! products are plant-based and free of gluten, nuts, and dairy.
