Founded 1986 in Tokyo, Japan by Hoshina Mitsuo and Maejima Kazunari, it invests in seed rounds and venture rounds. Its portfolio companies include Adways Inc. and MODE. As of April 2020, NIFTY has made two investments. Their most recent investment was on August 30, 2016, when MODE raised $1.3M. NIFTY has had one exit, which was Adways Inc. NIFTY Corporation is also involves in planning, development, and consulting for Internet-related services; and the planning, production, and sale of Internet advertising, Web contents, and e-commerce-related services. It changed its name to NIFTY Corporation in 1991. It is a subsidiary of FUJITSU LIMITED.
