Narrator

Narrator is a data analytics platform that performs various data operations.

Narrator is a data platform based in NYC and founded in 2017. Narrator performs data operations such as delivering insights, setting up a scalable data infrastructure, and answering data questions.

Narrator provides custom analysis through a team of data analysts, and checks data for significance, consistency, and causality. The single table created with Narrator is stored in the warehouse. All data is encrypted during storage and transmission and the database is connected to from an isolated network.

The users have the ability to take any Dataset created by Narrator and sync it with existing systems and BI tools by copying the generated SQL, materializing the output as a table in the warehouse, or exporting the data over SFTP, Webhook, Google Sheet, and more.

Narrator can read from raw tables or from derived ones, and generated materialized views can either directly power visualization tools or be used as a basis for further joining to make derived tables.

Narrator maintains single table activity streams. Updates to the table happen every 30 minutes, data is reconciled nightly, the table and its dependent tables are vacuumed as needed, and any Narrator created datasets are cached to minimize load on the warehouse. Narrator has access to all existing data, which stays in the warehouse and the functioning happens in SQL form.
