Mother Armenia

The statue of Mother Armenia has a total height of 51 meters. It is made of forged copper, and the figure of a woman depicting Mother Armenia has a height of 24 meters. The monument was designed during the times of Stalin and the Soviet Union. The statue symbolizes victory in the Second World War. Every year on May 9, thousands of Armenians visit the monument to Mother Armenia and lay flowers and wreaths in memory of the Armenian martyrs of World War II. The majestic sculpture can be seen from anywhere in Yerevan, so if you come to Yerevan, the sculpture will not go unnoticed by you.
