Mekhovik (football club)

In the 1993/1994 season, the Mekhovik team played in the transitional league. In the following 1994/1995 season, having taken third place, the team "Mechovik" moved from the third league (transitional) to the second league (Group "A"), where it played for three seasons. In 1996, the main sponsor — the fur company — left the team, and the name was changed — the team became known as FC Tysmenitsa.

After the 1997/1998 season, the team withdrew from the competition before the start of the next championship. The club returns to the regional championship. Later, the team returns its historical name "Mechovik".
