The company offers a blockchain based protocol for creating legally binding smart contracts. The Mattereum protocol allows users to create self executing smart contracts, Ricardian contracts, and access their dispute resolution and enforcement platform.
On November 7, 2018 Mattereum closed their seed funding round with $200,000 in funding from undisclosed investors.
