Mapillary is a street-level imagery platform that uses computer vision to fix the world's maps that is headquartered in Malmo, Sweden and was founded in 2013 by Jan Erik Solem, Johan Gyllenspetz, Peter Neubauer, and Yubin Kuang.

On January 15, 2015 Mapillary completed their seed funding round with $1.5 million in seed funding from Sequoia Capital (lead investor), Wellington Partners, Walking Ventures, Playfair Capital, LDV Capital, Jeremy Yap, and Carl Silbersky. 

Series A

On March 3, 2016 Mapillary completed their series A funding round with $8 million in funding from Atomico (lead investor), Sequoia Capital, Playfair Capital, and LDV Capital. 

Series B

On April 12, 2018 Mapillary completed their series B funding round with $15 million in funding from GMW i Ventures, Sequoia Capital, Samsung Catalyst Fund, NavInfo, LDV Capital, and Atomico.
