Mantiq Investimentos was a private equity firm based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The firm invested in small to medium sized Brazilian companies focused on infrastructure and oil and gas services.
Mantiq Investments, with over $1.2 billion assets under management as of June 2012 allocated in four Funds, is focused in the sectors of Infrastructure and oil and gas. Supported by some of the largest institutional investors in Brazil, Mantiq's management team has a long and successful team-work prospect. Mantiq Investimentos also managed a large equity stake in Renova Energia, the largest wind power company in Brazil.
The firm was acquired by Angra Partners in 2016. Previous to this, Mantiq Investimentos was the private equity fund of Santander, from whom Angra Partners acquired them. The acquisition doubled Angra Partners' assets under management to $2 billion and included the large equity stake in Renova Energia.
