MUP TREST "GORVODZELENKHOZ" - PROTECTING AND ENHANCEING.
The municipal unitary enterprise for the maintenance of green spaces of the city of Kazan (MUP trust "Gorvodzelenkhoz") is the assignee of the "Department for the maintenance of gardens, parks, squares and the construction of new green facilities" as part of the "Lands and Forests" management of Kazan, formed in 1934.
The activity of the enterprise is aimed at preserving the existing green fund of the city, reconstructing and updating the landscaping of streets, squares and parks, building new gardens, improving urban water bodies, improving and maintaining the city forest park, the current maintenance of the roadway and sidewalks of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts.

The work of the trust in the winter
Currently, the employees of the trust carry out the whole range of measures for winter maintenance of roads in the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts of Kazan: treatment of roads and sidewalks with anti-icing material, cleaning roads from snow and transporting it to snow collection points.This work involves a significant amount of snow removal equipment, including combined road machines, motor graders, snow loaders, front loaders, augers and sidewalk equipment. For the maximum convenience of citizens and to alleviate the traffic situation, the main snow removal work is carried out at night.
Work is also underway to clear snow from paths in gardens, parks and squares, clean up around stop pavilions, and repair damaged fences and road signs.
