The Founders of LiveOak have invested in a variety of companies, such as Spatial Wireless (acquired by Alcatel-Lucent), Navini Networks (acquired by Cisco Systems), LifeSize Technologies (acquired by Logitech) Mavenir Systems (NYSE:MVNR) and Stackengine (acquired by Oracle).

Investment

LiveOak Venture Partners invest in startups and technology companies with a focus on information technology, cleantech, wireless, enterprise, components and technology enabled services. It prefers to invest in Texas, with a focus on Austin, North Texas with a focus on Dallas, and the Southwest and seeks to make an initial investment between $1 million and $4 million and further investments between $7 million and $10 million in the companies.The company has invested over $250 million in companies based in Texas since 2000 and successfully created over $1.5 billion of enterprise value.

Investments include Rollick, DISCO and Irish Plans and exits include Stack Engine, Ranzure Networks and Opcity.
