Leonardo Sciascia

Leonardo Sciascia (1921-1989) was a prolific Italian writer, screenwriter, poet, playwright, politician, and journalist. Born in Racalmuto, Italy on January 8, 1921, he was an influential figure in Italian literature, especially in his later years as a novelist and screenwriter.
