Las Vegas Aces

An American professional women's basketball club playing in the Western Conference of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The club is based in the city of Paradise, the Aces play their home games at the Mikelob Ultra Arena. The team was founded in Salt Lake City in 1997 before the start of the first season of the league under the name "Utah Stars". In 2002, the team was forced to move to San Antonio, where it was originally called the San Antonio Silver Stars, and in 2014 it was renamed the San Antonio Stars. The Stars achieved their greatest success in the 2008 season, when the club managed to reach the finals of the tournament for the only time in its history
