LG Technology Ventures is a venture capital and private equity firm investing in early-stage artificial intelligence, mobility, advanced materials, life-sciences, next generation display, mobile, and 5G companies that is headquartered in Santa Clara, California and was founded in 2018. The firm was founded as a joint venture between LG Electronics Inc., LG Display Co., LG Chem Ltd., LG Uplus Corp., and LG CNC Co.. According to the firms website (as of November 2019), LG Technology Ventures is managing more that $400 million in assets.

Fund I

LG Technology Ventures raised their first fund during the companies founding in 2018. Their first fund raised $425 million from five LG affiliates. LG officially commented on what the firm plans on using their first fund for by saying:
