Kik

Kik is a german textile chain of discount stores founded in 1994 by Stefan Heinig.

KiK was founded in 1994 by Stefan. Heinig and the Tengelmann Group holding company . KiK is an abbreviation of "Kunde ist König" (English: "The client is the king").

KiK is the largest chain of textile discounters in Germany and operates approximately 3,500 stores in Germany, Austria (since 1998), Slovenia and the Czech Republic (since 2007), Hungary and Slovakia (since 2008), Croatia (since 2011), Poland (since March 2012) and the Netherlands (2013). In 2017, KiK opened its first stores in Italy, and in 2018 - in Romania. KiK CEO Patrick Zahn announced his entry into the US market starting in 2019. The first stores will be opened in the Midwest.
