John Shawe-Taylor

John Shawe-Taylor is a computer scientist and statistician born in 1953 in Cheltenham, United Kingdom. He is known for his work in machine learning, statistical learning theory, and support vector machines. Shawe-Taylor received his education from several institutions, including Imperial College London, the University of London, and the University of Ljubljana. He was advised by Norman L. Biggs during his doctoral studies.
