John La Farge

John La Farge (March 31, 1835 – November 14, 1910) was an American artist, writer, and painter, known for his work in the genre of portrait. He was born in New York City and held citizenship in the United States. La Farge passed away in Providence, Rhode Island.

Throughout his life, La Farge received his education at various institutions, including Fordham University, Mount St. Mary's University, and Fordham Preparatory School. As an artist, La Farge held occupations as a writer, painter, and artist.
