JOHN BELUSHI
He is an American film actor and screenwriter.
He was born on January 24, 1949 in Chicago (Illinois, USA).
The older brother of actor James Belushi.
In February 1971, John went to Chicago to audition for the Comedy Theater. He was accepted, and although he was the youngest member of the troupe, he quickly advanced to leading roles. True, John didn't care what he played, from the mayor to Hamlet. That was also when John became interested in the music of Joe Cocker. And his fascination with less interesting things began - he tried every drug he could get his hands on, from marijuana to peyote. That's not to say he was a champion among drug addicts of his generation. Back then everybody was experimenting. Maybe it was all about the fact that offstage he just didn't know what to do. When one of the actors asked him how it was possible for him to be so relaxed on stage, John replied, "Because it's the only place where I know exactly what I'm doing." Traveling to Canada, John met a very talented man named Dan Aykroyd there. John offered Dan a job on the show, but he declined and in turn made John a tempting offer. Their agreement resulted in a musical duo, several CDs, concerts and movies.
He passed away on March 5, 1982, in Los Angeles, California, USA. He is buried at Abel's Hill Cemetery on Martha's Vineyard Island, Massachusetts, USA.
