Jaspersoft, formerly known as Panscopic, is a software platform for data visualization and embedding reports & dashboards that was created by TIBCO Software. Jaspersoft is headquartered in TIBCO Software's headquarters in Palo Alto, California. 



Jaspersoft is made to offer customers business intelligence solutions by embedding reports, dashboards, and data visualizations into their platforms through the Jaspersoft Javascript API and integrating their software into their enterprise or web-application software applications. Notable customers using Jaspersoft include: Bigmate, iron Mountain, InQuba, Gichd, and Lufthansa Systems. 



The Jaspersoft platform is made to allow developers to customize the design, embedding, reports, and analytics offering by Jaspersoft. The Jaspersoft platform offers developers a REST API that allows them to leverage back-end services offered by Jaspersoft. Embedding the Jaspersoft platform requires both front-end and back-end integration. After successful integration Jaspersoft, the platform supports a drag-and-drop report builder and metadata labeller.



Funding

Series A

On August 26, 2002 Jaspersoft announced raising $5.3 million in series A funding from Discovery Ventures and DCM Ventures. At this time, Jaspersoft also added Arnold Silverman from Discovery Ventures and Rob Theis from DCM Ventures to its

Series B

On March 3, 2003 Japsersoft closed their series B funding round with $10 million in funding from Mergenthaler Ventures (lead investor), Discovery Ventures, and DCM Ventures. Japsersoft also announced adding Gary Little, the general partner of Morgenthaler Ventures, to its board of directors when it announced its series B funding round.

Series C

On July 19, 2005 Jaspersoft announced raising $8 million in series C funding from Partech, Mergenhaler Ventures, and DCM Ventures. 

Series D

On August 9, 2007 Jaspersoft announced raising $12 million in series D funding from SAP Ventures (lead investor), Scale Venture Partners, Sapphire Ventures, Partech, Morgenthaler Ventures, and DCM Ventures. The company plans on using their series D funding to focus on expanding its business internationally. 

Series E

On December 10, 2008 Jaspersoft announced raising $12.5 million in series E funding from Adams Street Partners (lead investor), Red Hat, Partech, Morgenthaler Ventures, and DCM Ventures. Jaspersoft plans on using their series E funding to expand its global operations and increase the size of its partner network. 

Sereis F

On July 14, 2011 Jaspersoft announced raising $11 million in series F funding from Sapphire Ventures (lead investor), Red Hat (lead investor), Toba Capital, Scale Venture Partners, Doll Capital Management, Quest Software, Partech, Margenthaler Ventures, DCM Ventures, and Adams Street Partners.
