Abstract

The Mobile Reconfigurable Acoustic Network (MoRAN) and associated Scalable Nested Network Optimization Methodology (SN2OM) will enable reliable underwater acoustic communications over a scalable ocean area with latencies on the order of minutes for critical communications messages. The JPAnalytics/BAE/ThayerMahan team combines state- of-the-art communications, environmental and acoustic modeling and transducer technology to being an unprecedented level of networked acoustic communications connectivity to the warfighter.
