Hungry Planet was founded in 2016 by Todd and Jody Boyman and is located in St. Louis, Missouri. Hungry planet is a plant-based food technology company selling meat-free chicken, burgers, and sausages. The company is developing alternative plant-based protein products for ground beef, chicken, pork, Italian sausage, chorizo sausage, and crab meat which can be substituted at a 1:1 ratio by culinary chefs making traditional meat dishes. Plant-based meat alternatives made by Hungry Planet are made using soy to mimic the taste and texture of traditional animal meat products, and do not contain GMO's, gluten, or animal products.
