Gregory J. Giotta, PhD, JD is Chief Legal Counsel at Kyverna. Prior to Kyverna he was Senior Vice President, Intellectual Property for Cell Design Labs from 2015 to 2018. At Cell Design Labs, Greg oversaw patents and licensing, and he was responsible for the procurement of a number of critical patents relating to Cell Design Labs base technology, SynNotch, which was licensed from the University of California.
Dr. Giotta earned a PhD from the University of California at Santa Cruz, and a J.D. from the University of San Diego. He did postdoctoral research stents at Harvard and the Salk Institute. He is admitted to practice law before the California Supreme Court, United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
