Great North Labs is a regional venture capital firm that targets tech startups in the Upper Midwest. The Minnesota based fund was founded in 2017 by twins Ryan and Rob Weber, who started ad monetization company NativeX. In June 2019, Great North Labs annouced it had raised $23.7 million for its initial fund. The stated aim of the fund is to grow the underserved Midwest technology sector. Great North Labs started a Startup School to help the process of incubating technology companies and encouraging entrepreneurs in the region's ecosystem.
