Gosho Aoyama is a Japanese manga artist born on June 21, 1963 in Daiei, Tottori. He holds Japanese citizenship and pursued his education at Nihon University. Aoyama's occupations include animator, comics artist, and most notably, mangaka.
Aoyama is the creator of several successful manga and anime works such as Magic Kaito, Detective Conan series, and its movies including Detective Conan: The Phantom of Baker Street and Detective Conan: The Lost Ship in the Sky.
