It never acquired IBM as a company though it did purchase some IBM manufacturing plants.
It has never acquired Intel or even part of Intel. In fact the opposite - Intel was thinking of acquiring Global Foundries https://www.barrons.com/articles/intel-merger-globalfoundries-51626462952
The notion that either Intel or IBM could be acquired by such a company should set red flags waving.
