The platform offers a fully conversational assistance solution, a digital co-driver named Chris, to drivers. The platform utilizes knowledge of driver behavior, and can operate entirely offline.After being launched in 2018, Chris has becoming the largest fleet of AI enabled devices in cars on the road by allowing drivers to safely operate their Android or iOS devices by using voice and gestures while driving.
German Autolabs also serves as a voice AI cloud platform for automotive and related industries like fleet operators, insurance providers, and more. Currently, Chris can be purchased as aftermarket-ready premium hardware in markets in England, Germany, Spain, and France. The company took home the iF Design Award, 2019 because of Chris and their goal to help improve driver safety while maintaining human connectivity.
