One of the ways to organize, structure and visualize large arrays of obtained geological and geophysical data is geological modeling.
A model is a simplified representation of a real object or processes or phenomena occurring in it. Using the term "geological model", we primarily mean a simplified representation of the structure of the subsurface and the processes occurring in them.
The geological model is usually used to solve the following problems:
-Choosing the optimal location of wells
-Well planning and geosteering
-Preparation of the geological basis for hydrodynamic and basin modeling
-Calculation of oil and gas reserves / mineral raw materials
