GameCredits (GAME) is blockchain-based digital currency designed for gamers that was founded in 2016 in Belgrade, Serbia by Nebojsa Maksimovic and Aleksandar Mihajlovic. GameCredits offers a virtual wallet, called Gwallet, and cryptocurrency, called GAME, for gamers and game developers. Organizational partners of GameCredits are QLear Protocol and Sector 5. GameCredits can be purchased on several cryptocurrency exchanges which include Coinswitch, Bittrex, Upbit, BitBay, Flyp.me, Livecoin.net, Poloniex, and Crex24.
GameCredits is based on a simplified version of Bitcoin, ands is mined using the Scrypt algorithm and proof-of-work principle. The organization running GameCredits known as The Game Credits Foundation regularly publishes progress updates, and ensures the GameCredits platform stays %100 open source and decentralized.
