The mission of Galaxy Digital Ventures according to the company's founder, CEO and chairman Michael Novogratz is:

Galaxy Digital Ventures focuses its business and merchant banking services on trading (arbitrage, macro, market making/OTC), asset management, principal investing (private equity, venture, public equity, ICO investments, Pre-ICO investments, and liquid and illiquid cryptocurrencies), and advisory (capital markets, M&A/restructuring, and technical consulting services to both start-ups and established institutions).

EOS.IO Ecosystem Fund

On January 23, 2018 Galaxy Digital Ventures raised $325 million in funding to support the development of the EOS blockchain ecosystem. The fund was announced as a joint venture between Galaxy Digital Ventures and Block.one.
