G-51 Capital is an Austin, Texas based venture capital firm. They prefer early stage investments including seed, series A and B, in the software, software-as-a-service, hardware, internet and clean technology sectors.
G-51 Capital started in 1996 as a small venture firm. In 2001, they started the G51 Venture Scholars' program to help MBA students learn about venture capital, private equity, due diligence, evaluating companies and pitching. In 2015, G-51 Capital used their experience and university network to start a research business, G51 Amplify, which has since become G51 Studio, where they help clients strategically scale their startups by connecting businesses, people and technology.
They exited their investments in ReachForce, Socialware, Motion Computing, Pilot Software and E5 Systems.
