Sean O'Sullivan and Shen Tong founded Food-X on June 1, 2014, as one of SOSV's start up accelerator programs. Food-X focuses on incubating food related start up companies. Their business accelerator program is located in New York City, New York, and runs 14-weeks from September to December. Companies selected to participate in the Food-X accelerator program agree to exchange 7-10% of equity in their company in exchange for $50,000 and participation in their incubator program (worth $45,000) where they will have access to co-working spaces, mentors, and industry partners.
